Nina Tiaga, CEO and CFO of FedBiz IT Solutions, LLC, has been selected as an honoree for her excellence in the Banking and Financial Services industry.

The award honors the Greater Washington region’s top financial professionals for outstanding performance in their roles as corporate financial stewards.

What was it about numbers that spoke to you? From an early age, I was drawn to numbers because they gave me a sense of accomplishment and purpose. I like things structured and systematic and organized.
What’s your most memorable deal or project? Winning the NASA SEWP V HUBZone contract. We worked hard for it. It took us over a year to write the contract, then the stress and agony of waiting. Once it was awarded, we went 70 mph last year to keep up with the demand. But it’s been very exciting and memorable and one of our proudest projects.
